If riding 424 kilometres and ascending 15,124 metres through the rugged Southern Alps wasn't tough enough, then try doing it in wet and windy conditions. If the forecasts are accurate then this years 'The Pioneer', a multi-stage mountain bike race, will be a true test of endurance and mental resilience for all the riders.
It's certainly a must-do: https://www.thepioneer.co.nz/
All the best to all the competitors, especially our Epoch customers who've got an advantage, as they know that for a multi-stage event like this, it is absolutely crucial to give your body the best chance to recover and repair muscle damage.
Be safe out there. Team Epoch
